Up, Up and away…Paper Planes Collection

Nostalgia and creativity combine…

When I was younger, paper planes were serious business.

I can still remember the feeling of the paper as I folded each crease. Just thinking to myself this is the one. This is the one that’s going to fly higher and faster! There was always that one paper plane that soared, another that looped just right, and of course, the one that nosedived straight into the floor. It was all a part of the fun! Each one carried the same mix of curiosity and joy.

That feeling is what inspired my Paper Planes collection. It’s a playful nod to those childhood afternoons when imagination lived in a single sheet of paper and the air was filled with laughter, hope, and just a bit of trial and error.

The hero print captures that sense of movement—paper planes gliding across soft clouds, almost as if they’re chasing one another. The secondary prints build on the story: one focused on the dreamy clouds, another layering planes with stripes to hint at motion. And finally, the blender patterns tie it all together with simplicity and rhythm.

This collection is bold yet lighthearted, designed to carry a bit of nostalgia while staying versatile enough for fabric, stationery, or even playful home goods. It’s about the memory of folding that fresh sheet of paper, sending it into the air, and watching it do something a little unexpected. Magical moments.

For me, Paper Planes is more than a set of patterns…it’s a reminder of how creativity often starts small, with simple materials and a spark of imagination.

If these designs bring to mind possibilities for your next project, I’d love for you to explore how they might take flight in your world.
